Freelancing has become one of the most talked-about ways of working.

During the COVID-19 pandemic and the period that followed, remote work attracted significantly more attention. Working from home and collaborating with clients online became increasingly common, while more people started exploring the possibility of working independently.

But how do you actually find freelance work? Where should you begin, what skills do you need, and is this way of working suitable for everyone?

To explore these questions, we organised a panel discussion titled "How to Find Freelance Work — Is Freelancing for Everyone?"

Meet the Panelists

Our panel brought together six participants:

  • Milana Čap
  • Janko Glavonjić
  • Nebojša Savičić
  • Andrijana Cotić
  • Miodrag Veljović
  • Ivijan Stefan Stipić

How Do You Find Freelance Work?

Freelancing offers opportunities for people who want to organise their work independently, collaborate with different clients and develop their professional skills.

At the same time, it raises important questions: how do you find your first clients, present your expertise, manage your time and build a sustainable independent career?

These questions inspired us to bring together speakers with different professional experiences and open a conversation about the opportunities and challenges of freelancing.

Is Freelancing for Everyone?

Independent work can be attractive because of its flexibility and the opportunity to work with a variety of clients. However, it also requires responsibility, organisation, adaptability and continuous learning.

Our aim was to explore the topic from different perspectives and encourage viewers to consider which working arrangements best suit their skills, expectations and personal goals.
